Characteristics of Emergency Transport Ventilator

Many people believe that emergency transport ventilators are equivalent to simple ventilators, because compared to professional ICU therapeutic ventilators, emergency transport ventilators do not have as many ventilation modes and parameter monitoring in terms of mode function. However, in fact, professional emergency transport ventilators should have the following major characteristics (which cannot be achieved by large ICU ventilators):

       Portability:

1. Small in size and light in weight. Whether it is SOS or emergency 120, emergency personnel in various positions, regardless of gender, face the need to carry ventilators for emergency treatment. If the volume is too large and the weight is slightly heavy, it will inevitably affect the rescue efficiency.

2. Easy to install and carry. The application scenarios of emergency transport ventilators are not limited to hospitals, but also include ambulances, stretchers, wheelchairs, and even airplanes. They not only require manual lifting, but also require installation and fixation to achieve stable use.

      Durability:

The characteristics of emergency transportation (such as tight time, complex and variable environment, few emergency personnel and high labor intensity, high quality requirements, and complex conditions of critically ill patients) determine its high durability requirements:

1. Durable and resistant to earthquakes and falls.

2. The ventilation system of the ventilator should not be closed due to severe collision with the machine, and patients can breathe air through anti suffocation valves.

3. Control the adjustment knob to protect the setting from damage. The touch screen is prone to damage and cannot be operated after damage, which determines that it is not currently used in emergency transport ventilators.

4. Wide range of temperature and humidity applications

5. Other: Waterproof, acid resistant, and anti-interference

     Security:

1. High pressure alarm and pressure release after high pressure alarm to prevent air pressure injury.

2. Energy depletion alarm.
