Control Method of Ventilator

  (1)Mechanical mechanism control

This is an early type of ventilator that is completely controlled and driven by mechanical mechanisms and does not require electrical energy, known as a pneumatic controlled ventilator, suitable for use outside the hospital. Due to the development of batteries, the power supply time of batteries can reach a longer time. Therefore, currently, electrically controlled pneumatic and electrically controlled electric respirators have become mainstream, and pneumatic respirators are becoming less and less common. Electric pneumatic control is a method used in modern high-end ventilators. Electric controlled ventilators have poor flexibility and are mainly used for emergency treatment and patient operation.

  (2)Electronic circuit control

Pneumatic ventilators can only achieve the simplest ventilation function and have poor control of tip angle, making their application range very limited. By using electronic circuits to control the system, so-called "electrically controlled pneumatic or electric" can be achieved, which can achieve precise control, complete more breathing modes, and achieve some basic alarm functions.

  (3)Computer control

To achieve increasingly complex ventilation functions, analyze and monitor patient respiratory function, and even achieve some intelligent automatic functions, it can only be achieved after the application of computers. Due to the significant reduction in computer application costs, it can be said that there are currently no ventilators that do not use computers for control. Of course, this is also due to the development of battery technology, which enables the use of high-performance electronic controlled ventilators for emergency treatment outside the hospital and the transportation of patients within the hospital.
