Structural Principle of SD-M2000C Anesthesia Machine

The SD-M2000C anesthesia machine is a continuous airflow anesthesia system equipped with an air path that can transport air, oxygen, laughing gas, and inhaled anesthetic drugs. Two types of anesthetic drugs can be chosen: enflurane or isoflurane. The external input of oxygen and laughing gas should maintain a pressure of 0.4MPa ± 0.1MPa, and then enter the anesthesia machine through the gas transmission pipeline. The automatic cut-off safety valve of laughing gas must be opened when the oxygen supply pressure reaches above 0.05MPa to allow laughing gas to enter the internal gas circuit of the anesthesia machine. Otherwise, laughing gas cannot enter the gas circuit of the anesthesia machine. After each gas source enters, it is depressurized again through the protective pressure reducing valve inside the machine, and then to the flow meter. The flow control valve on the flow meter is used to adjust the flow of oxygen and laughing gas. The oxygen and laughing gas switches have linkage devices, which can ensure that the oxygen output is greater than 25%. Oxygen and laughing gas are mixed in a flow meter, and the mixed gas passes through an anesthetic evaporator, taking away a portion of the anesthetic vapor. It is then transported to the patient's respiratory circuit through the common gas outlet. The oxygen output from the rapid oxygen supply does not pass through the flow meter and evaporator, but is directly transported to the patient's respiratory circuit through the common gas outlet. The anesthesia gas or oxygen delivered to the patient's respiratory circuit is maintained in a regular manner by mechanical control (controlled by the ventilator) or manual operation according to the set ventilation volume and breathing mode. This machine is equipped with a waste gas emission system, and an adjustable pressure limit valve and overflow valve can discharge excess gas. The safety overflow and pressure control in gas pipelines can ensure that when subjected to a single fault causing an increase in pressure, it will not pose a danger to patients, operators, and third-party personnel.
